Recipe of the Day - Cinnamon Apple Pie Oatmeal***
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day so try this protein packed oatmeal for a delicious start to your day that will fuel your body with the energy it requires to get going.
Ingredients
1/2 cup rolled oats
1 cup water
1/2 apple, sliced and chopped
1 serving Whey protein
1 tbsp cinnamon
2 tbsp Splenda
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Directions
Bring the water to a boil in a small saucepan.
Add oats, sliced and chopped apple (keeping some of the apple as a topping at the end), cinnamon, protein powder, splenda and vanilla extract to the pan.
Reduce the heat to medium and cook for 4-5 minutes, stir occasionally.
Pour the mixture in 2 separate bowls.

Ingredients
- 2 portobello mushrooms, thinly sliced
-.half a bag fresh spinach, chopped
- 1tsp olive oil
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 5 egg whites, lightly beaten
- salt and pepper
Directions
Sauté the mushrooms and spinach in the olive oil until they're tender. Whisk the egg, egg whites and salt and pepper to taste. Add the egg mixture and cook, with the occasional stir, until completely set. Serve with some lovely sourdough or rye bread.

Ingredients
1 cup skim milk
1 cup cold water
3 scoops LA Whey Protein in Chocolate flavour. Note you can alter the flavour to suit your needs.
1 pack sugar free jelly.
Add a dark piece of chocolate on top (optional)
Directions
Mix ingredients together in blender until well mixed, and portion out into small cups. Chill.
Serves 4.
